Interesting coffee place Great to get away from the touristy spots, the menu is exciting, they offer a few breakfast and lunch options Portions are small for the price you pay but the food is good This is rather on the expensive side for a coffee shop but the interior is very chill and relaxing The service is really good Location: you get there by ferry (ferry ride is super quick and free from the central station) They have a wide range of coffees to choose from ( I ordered a flat white which was nice but too milky) It’s worth checking out but pricey
Public Space has been an absolute highlight to an incredible 10 day trip in Amsterdam. Coming from both Toronto and Sydney Australia, we are no strangers to a quality morning coffee spot, but Public Space shatters most standards.
With freshly baked goods presented as you walk in, the scene is immediately set. The team here cares greatly for all aspects of the cafe and it shows. The coffee is explained and chosen by the staff here perfectly and complimented with a robust and diverse menus bustling with flavour. The mushroom toast, bread and cheese, and public breakfast were some favourites.
This is just the perfect way to start your day. No question.
The new menu is great, and coffee wonderful as always. Also, I love their teas. Good selection of sodas for my little ones, and best cinnamon buns in town. The owners are lovely and welcoming, - I love to have a small talk with them from time to time. Absolutely favorite espresso in Amsterdam.
Good place for working with your laptop. Doesn’t get crowded (at least on a weekday) and they have tables with plugs and good wi-fi. One of the walls is fully made of glass so it also has good light. Dog-friendly
