We just wanted to go in for a quick coffee. The atmosphere in this place is absolutely amazing. The little terrace is everything you want, it’s directly at the water and in the afternoon we enjoyed a lot of sunshine while looking at this beautiful boat with loads of plants on deck. The coffee was delicious and the cheesecake... wow. Unfortunately they only had one piece left, so we had to share but if they would have had more, I’d have ordered them all! It was the creamiest and best cheesecake I have ever eaten. anywhere! And i have eaten my fair share of cheesecakes around the world. So if you are in Rotterdam definitely go there for a very good coffee and the best cheesecake in the world. The other food they had also looked very very good but we already had lunch that day. I would (and probably will...) come back from germany for that cheesecake!!
Good location as it has views onto the water, on the way to the Erasmus bridge. Overall rating is 3/5 as the coffee was too acidic and therefore not pleasant to consume. The meals we had were good but nothing that I would specially return for. Try it for yourself, it’s quite popular, cute and friendly. Perhaps today the coffee was too acidic and other times it is more balanced, who knows.
Cute cafe with a nice water front seating area. Coffee was lovely but hot chocolate was not mediocre. Not sweet or chocolaty. Just quite milky. Unfortunately the Eggs Benedict was all a little disappointing. There wasn't enough hollandaise sauce to help with the dry toast. The little basil dressing had punchy flavours but again, it was too little to help inflate the dish. The egg was poached well with a runny yoke. Overall good concept, just a little tight on everything flavoursome.
Nice place , for outdoor coffee and brunch, quite honest prices with great coffee. Indoors seemed a bit more packed than my preference but the atmosphere was great. Definitely a place worth going.
