Yoghurt Barn Rotterdam
Cute but overpriced. Very limited vegan options... the smoothie was way too sugary and the cake tasted like baking soda and seemed 1 or 2 days old
After 45min I’m still waiting for the drinks.
We’ve ordered two capuchinos and one americano.
After 30min, the girl who attend us was aware that we still had nothing on our table, so she start talking with one of her colleagues. I thought they would start preparing our order immediately. But no. 15min later nothing.
We were in a hurry so we decided to leave. So I was gonna tell the girl who attended us to cancel our order, cause we had to leave. She saw me going towards her and decided to hied inside the kitchen.
Apart from the 45min wait, the completely immature behavior of the waitress is the think that shock me the most. Not even an apology.
Anyway, I won’t be back.
Nice place with helpful staff.
We came here because it's one of rare places in Rotterdam which have play corner for kids. And I got quite strange impression about this place. From one side staff is friendly and helpful, but from other side I had waited for half an hour before the waitress came to me (after 2 reminders!). Staff apologized in the end, but when you are hungry with a small kid it's not so easy to handle long waiting time.
They have toys, nice books for kids, enough space, great assortment (also low or medium fat yoghurt) and it's cozy place in general. Yoghurt was tasty, probably it's a good option for breakfast, but coffee is nothing special, cappuccino tasted like a normal one from a coffeemaker.
What I like about this place is the variety of seats and cozy corners. The cafe latte they served was fine but not worth a detour.
