Possibly the most chill spot in Utrecht: 1. Staff are awesome - I forgot the Dutch don't use MasterCard much and had run out of cash so couldn't pay, barman's response... "Ah don't worry about it, you can come back and pay us another day, I trust you" 2. Great coffee/beer/food 3. Constant classics playing through their old school speakers next to the cool retro furniture 4. Perfect view of the canal
Perfect spot for a having a coffee, while enjoying the classical music in the background. Friendly owners who put a lot of effort and passion into building this venue. Offers great lunch dishes. The dinner menu is a bit basic with rather small portions. Tip: get your coffee and lunch inside, and enjoy it outside on the pier.
Their rubarb radler is the best. I hope they put it on their menu. The place has a nice ambiance and a pretty view of the canal. Dutch places generally have issues with understanding the business of providing hospitality, and this place is certainly no worse than most of them. What I don't get is how they want their musical and culinary aspirations to mesh. It's a nice place, good service, good food, good music, but I think that part of it still needs some work.
Restaurant/bar beautifully located on the banks of the Oudegracht a little outside the city center. We had two 3 course menus for € 22,50 each, which were prepared with love - smakelijk! And the waiters there were super nice and very attentive! Absolutely recommended! ❤️
